Red Dirt Tours is a locally owned and operated small business specialising in the natural and historical environments in and around Winton.
There are so many things to see in Winton and around the region - Dinosaurs, Waltzing Matilda, grazing, spectacular scenery - each with its own unique characteristics. So we offer a range of tours, and multi tour savers, to show you our part of Queensland's backyard. Dinosaurs feature heavily around Winton but if you're not into that, just remember, there's a lot more to see than dinosaurs.
Winton is on the western side of Queensland so by the time you get here, you and/or your partner will be ready for a break from driving for a day or two. You can fly in, or catch the Spirit of the Outback in, and we'll do the rest. However you get to Winton, we've got you covered. Just sit back, relax and let us do the driving for you!
Red Dirt Tours is owned and operated by Vicki Jones - "I love nothing more than to show you around our backyard, to get out into nature and to let you know about things you see and the people and processes that made it happen. I hope to see you soon!"
Covid-Safety: Red Dirt Tours is hard at work to ensure we are Covid-Safe for your tour. We ask that if you are ill or are showing symptoms of illness, please do not come on tour. We also ask that if you have recently been in an identified Covid hotspot that you please ensure you have appropriately isolated before attending a tour with us.
Where you need to cancel for Covid safety, we will refund or reschedule your tour but please be considerate of others. Thank you!
