Have the freedom to explore Winton and the best it has to offer. Visit Carisbrooke Station to see the spectacular scenery of the region, marvel at the preservation of 3300 dinosaur footprints made 95 million years ago at the Dinosaur Stampede, see the dinosaur bones being found in the local area at the Australian Age of Dinosaurs, hear about the explorers and pioneers of the region, the hardship of station life and the events that shaped Winton and its people. This 4 night package has a weekly departure that links with the Spirit of the Outback rail.

ITINERARY:
The itinerary is generally as follows...
Sunday (D) - Arrive in Winton

Monday (B, L, D) - Carisbrooke Station and Dinosaur Stampede Day Tour

Tuesday (B) - AM - Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum Half Day Tour
                         PM - Bladensburg National Park

Wednesday (B) - AM - Waltzing Matilda Centre 
                               PM - Rangelands Rifts and Sunset Tour (sunset nibbles and a glass of wine included)

Thursday (B) - Depart Winton, or stay longer to explore.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
A reasonable level of fitness is required to join this tour. Guests must be able to walk 400m and sometimes across uneven ground. Unfortunately wheelchairs cannot be accommodated onboard the vehicles.

Deposit:
A $400 deposit per person is due upon confirmation. The Balance is payable one month prior to departure.

Cancellations:

• 30+ days = no cancellation fee and refund of deposit.
• 14-29 days = $50 per person
• 0-13 days = $250 per person
• If you need to leave the tour early due to illness or an emergency, then we will refund any unused portions of the tour less any costs incurred from third party suppliers.
