Minimum Numbers - effective 2026
In order to remain financially viable we need to put minimum numbers on tours - I'm sure you understand.

- We have a minimum of 4 paying adults/seniors, unless otherwise arranged.
- Some tours and some times of the year we will run tours with 2 people but we will contact you about this.
- Where minimum numbers have not yet been met, we will contact you and leave the tour open for others to book on until the afternoon before the tour.
- If minimum numbers are not reached then we will offer to change dates where you can, offer an alternative tour or refund the full amount - whichever is more suitable for you.

We understand that unexpected things happen, so please contact us if you have any unforeseen circumstances.
We also hope that you understand that we need to remain financially viable and have minimum numbers for tours. For most tours during the peak months of April to October, we have a minimum of 4 guests/passengers in order for the tour to proceed.

- If you are unable to travel due to illness, lockdowns or breakdowns we will provide a full refund or change the date of your tour where we can - just let us know, we understand!
- If Red Dirt Tours cancels a tour due to weather or unforeseen circumstances then a full refund will be given or arrangements made for you to join a tour on another day.

We understand if you need to cancel the tour because of unforeseen circumstances, so we are fair and reasonable:

- 60+ days = no cancellation fee
- 7-59 days = $50 per person
- 0-6 days = $250 per person
- If you need to leave the tour due to illness or emergency, then we will refund any unused portions of the tour less any costs incurred from third party suppliers. We recommend travel insurance to recoup any loss.
General Terms and Conditions
All bookings subject to availability and all tours subject to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances. Red Dirt Tours (the operator) operates in remote and rugged regions where facilities and services are either very limited or non-existent. Despite our best reasonable endeavours, weather or road conditions, safety or operational issues, injury or illness, or electrical/mechanical failure can cause disruption and change to itineraries. In any of these circumstances, the operator reserves the right to alter or cancel any tour at its sole discretion. Every reasonable endeavour will be made to keep to arrival/departure times but no guarantee can be given and the operator will not be liable for any costs incurred through delay, change in itinerary or failure to connect with any other service.
The operator will not accept responsibility for any problem, complaint or claim resulting from the provision of a service or failure to provide a service by any transportation, accommodation or other supplier who may supply a service at the request of the operator.
The operator reserves the right to exclude any passenger from a tour at any time if, in the opinion of the operator, that person appears likely to risk the health or safety or comfort of other passengers or themselves, or in the event that person commits any illegal act. In any such circumstances the operator will not be liable to pay any compensation whatsoever.

Our tours involve some uneven and gravelly surfaces. Although the tours are at a relaxed pace, some areas could pose a risk of harm or injury. All care is taken to ensure your safety but we ask you to consider your own abilities and ask you to respect the instruction of our Red Dirt Tours guide at all times. By purchasing the tour you understand and agree to this and release Red Dirt Tours Pty Ltd (ABN 59646734401) from all liability, costs and damages which could arise from participation in the activity. I agree to accept financial responsibility for the costs related to medical or other treatment including transportation and confirm same by purchasing this tour.
